Crowd

RockMelon were formed in 2006 under the name 'The Unlikely Lads' by Anthony Hible and Ben Jowett. Several changes of name were seen until the band settled on 'RockMelon' and since then, have never looked back.

Since forming, RockMelon have battled to make an impression on the live music scene as down-to-earth, passionate musicians without pretentiousness, never giving up, always soldiering forward to bigger things. They have now had the pleasure of playing alongside musicians such as Adam Ficek of Babyshambles, Esteban, Tastebuds and N.Y.A.A.A.

Summer 2009 saw RockMelon headline the Blast Festival at Ashfield Show along with the Sugababes.

RockMelon have risen through the ranks, ever growing bigger, recording singles in London, selling out a show at Sheffield's prestigious Leadmill venue and playing several live sets on the radio accompanied by interviews.

RockMelon have now played in various venues throughout the UK and continue to do so, rocking off faces and melting ears wherever they go.
